Awesome mic
I’ve been using the Dyna-Mic with the rack since 2019 and now I’m really digging the sound of the new Dyna-Mic Night Hawk – it’s a game changer! Been using it exclusively in my gigs and find it’s an improvement in volume as you can get loud without major feedback. It’s got the wah-wah sensors, built in rechargeable battery so it powers itself and goes from clean to fat with overdrive – a really nice tone! I use the Dyna- Mic Night Hawk with my Sherlter Unico 250 PA amp, as well as through the house mixer, and it sounds great. I also put it to the test with some valve amps such as Fender Deluxe, Blues Jr. and again I love the tones. Hat’s off to Mitch, he’s done it again!
I bought the original Dyna-Mic Firebird and now I also have the new Nighthawk, which I believe is a great improvement on the Firebird (even though it was a great harp mic).
I also have a steady rack, two standard gaskets and 3 Golden Melody pro gaskets.
One of the things I like best about the Dyna-Mics is the ability to turn up as loud as I want without getting any feedback. Being able to USB charge, to add distortion easily, and the wah effect are great improvements.
I've got 7 harp mics (some home made and some by well respected manufacturers), and I use the Dyna-Mic almost exclusively. Love it!
Super easy to get a great sound with the Dyna-Mic. I’m using the 1/4inch version and Pro Gaskets which I highly reccomend. Tone is nice and full and without any feedback. Only small downside is I’ve got a couple harps sitting on the bench now because I need more Pro Gaskets for them… but to be honest, I’m not too fussed. I’m just enjoying playing more than ever.
