Gasket Selection Guide

All Dyna-Mic purchases now include our Universal Gasket, which fits virtually any 10-hole diatonic harmonica. For players who want a more model-specific fit, the Pro-Gasket range is available as an add-on, offering a tighter seal, improved feedback resistance, and fuller tone.

Universal Gasket

The Universal Gasket uses spring-style arms to hold the harmonica in place. It is designed to fit virtually any 10-hole diatonic harmonica, regardless of cover plate style or whether the harmonica is magnetic or non-magnetic. For many players, this means one Universal Gasket will cover most (or all) of the harmonicas they use.

Because all harmonicas vary slightly in their dimensions, some models, such as the Bushman Delta Frost, may require a firmer push to fit into the Universal Gasket. However, at this stage, the only 10-hole diatonic harmonicas we know of that are incompatible are the new Hohner Golden Melody and Yonberg.

Pro-Gasket Range

For those seeking an even tighter seal, enhanced feedback protection, and a richer tone, our Pro-Gasket range is the solution.

With ten different models, the Pro-Gasket range delivers these benefits while also fitting most harmonicas from leading brands such as Hohner, Seydel, Suzuki, and Lee Oskar, including those with more unique or non-standard shapes as well as non-magnetic types.

It also accommodates newer brands from China like Kongsheng, EastTop, and Bushman.
